Safer Internet Day - Competition

Today is Safter Internet day and we ran a competition with the children to write their own internet safety poems. Below is our winning entry...

You've got to stay safe on the Internet.

Don't make friends with people you've never met.

You've got to keep your information close to your chest,

It's personal and just for you and not for people you've never met.

Meeting up with strangers is a bad idea.

Strangers can be dangerous. It's true, I fear.

Think about the information that you share.

Do you want the world to know the colour of your hair?

How about the place you live, or school that you go to?

Do you want the world to turn up at your home?

Or will you...

Keep your information a secret so you

Have no worries with the way the world will see you?
