VE Day Celebrations

On Friday 6th May 2016 the children from year 4 invited the children from year 3 to celebrate VE day (Victory in Europe). In preparation for the afternoon celebrations, the children in Dolphin and Orca class made and sent their invitations, baked scones, made sandwiches and prepared their best work to share. The afternoon was a success where the children had the opportunity to create a VE day banner, take a WW2 selfie, taste delicious refreshments and much more. Overall the afternoon was a hit!
