Year 5 Road Safety

Today we were visited by the Southend Road Safety Team. We spent the morning learning about staying safe when crossing roads. We were taken on a walk around the outside of the school grounds, where we looked at the different roads and identified safe ways to cross. We identified other things as we walked that would help us to stay safe, even while walking on the pavements.
