Victim Support Assembly

On Monday 14th November years 5 and 6 were visited by Victims Support. As part of our equality and diversity work the children were given information about what constitutes hate crime and how to report it. We learnt about the feelings that hateful behaviour can engender and that it is all of our responsibility to stand up to those who are being prejudiced against others by reporting them to the police. We learnt that to paraphrase John F. Kennedy: The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men, women or children do nothing.
