Keeping Children Safe Online

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Keeping Children Safe Online talk on Wednesday 3rd May. This is a very important topic and one which can be both scary and challenging to tackle as parents. Our children are growing up in a world which poses different dangers to the one in which we grew up and as a result it is important that both children and parents are well informed.

During the talk the issues covered related to cyber bullying, harmful internet content, digital footprints and grooming. These were looked at in relation to online gaming, social networking and the use of mobile technology.

If you were unable to attend the meeting last week, there is a further opportunity to do so on Wednesday 10th May at 5.45pm. This is an important topic and we urge you to attend if at all possible.
