Year 6 Visit to The Forum

Last Thursday, Year 6 were lucky enough to attend a workshop with M.G. Leonard the author of Beetle Boy and Queen of the Beetles. M.G. Leonard talked enthusiastically about how she came up with the idea for the books and why she chooses to write about beetles! We learnt about where she took her inspiration from and a lot about beetles. Did you know that Rhino Beetles enjoy eating bananas? Year 6 left the workshop feeling inspired and motivated to enjoy the process of writing and to write imaginatively!
