Read & Create - Spring has Sprung

Porters Grange helped herald in the Spring (just before the snow fell!) in a Read & Create session in the library on the 26th February. KS1 and KS2 children joined together with their parents to listen to the story of The Tale of a Naughty Rabbit based on the original Peter Rabbit book by Beatrix Potter. After that, the creativity began with everyone getting involved making paper daisy chains, a bird's nest full of newly hatched chicks and a cascading rainbow paper wind chime. It was a lovely way to spend an hour and great to see parents and children working together and everyone took their creations home.
