Mother's Day

The Early Years team invited a female per child to celebrate Mother’s Day with us. The child's family sent in photos of them and a 'fabulous female' for the week. The children enjoyed looking at and chatting about their photos. Reception and Nursery spent time decorating cakes for their fabulous female to celebrate the occasion. The children and their fabulous female devoured their cake and squash, then we all enjoyed a female-themed story and also a spot of Mother’s Day karaoke! Fun was had by all, especially when we sang 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams and 'Let it Go' from the film Frozen. The children, family members and staff loved celebrating this special time together.
