Cricket Engagement Day

On Friday 22nd September, we were lucky enough to have some visitors from Essex County Cricket Club who provided a fun-filled cricket engagement day for us! They provided a whole school assembly in the morning in which we took a quiz to help us learn all about which teams were playing in the Cricket World Cup this year. Following this, year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to have some class cricket coaching sessions, where we learned the skills of fielding, bowling and batting in cricket! We had lots of fun and can’t wait to follow the teams participating in the Cricket World Cup!
