Southend Makes Music

On Tuesday 28th February, members of the Porters Grange Choir, walked from school to the Bus Station to catch the bus to the Palace Theatre.

There was a buzz of excitement as we entered the theatre and rehearsed our songs on stage for the first time. Following this, we had our picnic tea in the Dixon Studio and were then shown to our seats to watch the first half of the show.

Finally, the moment we had been waiting for!

We took our places on the stage, and were momentarily dazzled by the lights as the curtain was raised.

The children gave an amazing performance, which was met by rapturous applause by the audience.

I can truly say, that this was the best performance they have ever given.

Well done choir, we are really proud of you.
