Year 6 Library

On Wednesday 7th February, Year 6 had a fantastic opportunity to visit the Southend Library at the Forum. We were given a tour around the library, including the ‘young adults’ reading area, which the children are permitted to use as they move from Year 6 to Year 7. The children had some time to browse the book selection and sign up for a library card if they had not already got one. We learned that The Forum is a safe space in Southend that we can use for reading, studying, researching, relaxing or even playing board games. Best of all, it is right on our doorstep and it is completely free!
