Year 6 visit IndiRock

Year 6 children from Porters Grange Primary School, Southend been to IndiRock for some of their PE lessons. The bouldering centre in Southend has lots of different climbing routes suitable for children of all abilities and starting points. 

They had a fantastic time over the 6 weeks and learnt a lot of climbing techniques. Their confidence increased and they loved the climbing challenges the staff gave them. 

Their teachers said, "It was wonderful to see children who were nervous at first climbing confidently by the end."  "Climbing at IndiRock was a great opportunity for the children. It helped them develop their confidence and perseverance."

One of the children said, "When you reach the top of the challenging climbs, you feel great. I can't wait to go again!"
